Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the TouchToFix platform, including mobile apps, web portals, the TTFDesk desktop agent, and all related services operated by TouchToFix Technologies ("TouchToFix", "we", "us"). By registering or using the platform, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old to use TouchToFix. By creating an account you confirm that you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.
2. Account Registration
Accounts are created using a mobile phone number and OTP verification. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account and for all activity that occurs under it. Notify us immediately at support@touchtofix.com if you suspect unauthorised access.
3. Customer Terms
- You may use the platform to request remote technical support from verified experts.
- You grant the expert limited, temporary access to your device for the purpose of resolving your stated issue only.
- You may end a remote session at any time by closing the FixMe portal or disconnecting TTFDesk.
- You agree not to misuse the platform to request fraudulent sessions or to circumvent billing.
4. Expert Terms
- Experts must complete the verification process and maintain accurate profile information.
- Experts may only access the customer's device for the agreed support purpose. Any unauthorised access, data exfiltration, or harmful action is strictly prohibited and may result in immediate account suspension and legal action.
- Experts set their own hourly rate. TouchToFix charges a 20% platform fee; experts receive 80% of the session gross.
- Experts are independent service providers, not employees of TouchToFix.
- Experts must adhere to the Expert Code of Conduct and respond professionally to all requests.
5. Billing and Payments
Sessions are billed based on active connection time, rounded up to 15-minute intervals. The applicable rate is the expert's displayed rate at the time of session start. Payment is processed securely through our payment provider. TouchToFix is not responsible for payment disputes arising from third-party payment failures.
For business (B2B) accounts, billing may be consolidated monthly per the terms of your company agreement.
6. Cancellations
You may cancel an open or snoozed request at no charge before an expert begins active work. Once a session is active, you will be billed for time already used up to the point of disconnection. See our Refund Policy for dispute resolution.
7. Prohibited Conduct
You agree not to:
- Use the platform for any illegal purpose or in violation of applicable laws
- Attempt to access accounts, systems, or data that you are not authorised to access
- Introduce malware, viruses, or harmful code via the platform
- Harass, threaten, or abuse other users
- Reverse-engineer, scrape, or attempt to extract source code from the platform
- Create fake accounts or misrepresent your identity
8. Intellectual Property
All content, branding, software, and technology on the TouchToFix platform is owned by or licensed to TouchToFix Technologies. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the platform for its intended purpose. You may not copy, modify, or distribute platform content without written permission.
9. Disclaimers
The platform is provided "as is". While we verify experts, TouchToFix does not guarantee the outcome of any support session. We are not liable for data loss, device damage, or any consequential harm arising from a remote session. Always back up your data before granting remote access.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, TouchToFix's total liability for any claim arising from use of the platform is limited to the amount you paid for the session giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Any dispute shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Bangalore, Karnataka, India.
12. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify registered users of material changes. Continued use of the platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
