TouchToFix Technologies ("TouchToFix", "we", "our", or "us") operates the TouchToFix platform, including the mobile apps, web portals, desktop agent (TTFDesk), and API services. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, disclose, and protect your information when you use our services.
1. Information We Collect
Account information: When you register, we collect your mobile phone number, name, and role (customer or expert). Experts additionally provide skill details, rates, and government ID for verification.
Usage data: We log session events, request timestamps, ticket interactions, and feature usage to improve the platform and detect abuse.
Device information: We collect device identifiers (FCM token, device model, OS version) to deliver push notifications and detect suspicious activity.
Remote session data: During remote desktop sessions, screen data is transmitted directly between participants via end-to-end encrypted WebRTC. TouchToFix does not record, store, or access live screen content unless you explicitly enable session recording.
Payment information: Billing is calculated by the platform based on session time. Payment card data is processed by our payment provider and is not stored on our servers.
Communications: Messages sent via in-app chat or support tickets are stored to maintain session continuity and for dispute resolution.
2. How We Use Your Information
- To create and manage your account and verify your identity
- To match customers with available experts and facilitate remote support sessions
- To process billing and calculate expert payouts
- To send push notifications about session status, ticket updates, and platform alerts
- To detect fraud, enforce our Terms of Service, and comply with legal obligations
- To improve platform features, fix bugs, and analyse aggregate usage trends
3. How We Share Your Information
We do not sell your personal data. We share data only in the following circumstances:
- Between participants: Your name and role are visible to the expert or customer you are matched with during a session.
- Company IT accounts: If your employer has enrolled your organisation on TouchToFix, your session data and ticket history within that workspace is visible to your company's IT admin.
- Service providers: We use third-party services for cloud hosting (Google Cloud Platform), push notifications (Firebase Cloud Messaging), and payment processing. These providers are bound by data processing agreements.
- Legal requirements: We may disclose information if required by law, court order, or to protect the safety of users or the public.
4. Data Retention
We retain account data for as long as your account is active. Session logs and ticket history are retained for 24 months. You may request deletion of your account and personal data by contacting support@touchtofix.com.
5. Security
All data in transit is encrypted using TLS 1.2 or higher. Remote desktop session data uses end-to-end encrypted WebRTC. Session tokens are one-time-use and expire immediately after use. We perform regular security reviews and vulnerability assessments.
6. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to access, correct, or delete your personal data; to object to or restrict processing; and to data portability. To exercise these rights, contact us at support@touchtofix.com.
7. Children
TouchToFix is not intended for users under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered, please contact us immediately.
